Job Description

-Will tutor children Kindergarten-5th grade in reading and literacy. Tutor sessions are 1 on 1 and 50 minutes long. America Reads runs 4-8pm Monday-Thursdays -Tutors will plan lessons for the sessions as well as assess the children using materials that the clinic provides. -Other duties may include making copies, organizing files, and answering phone calls and parent questions. Job Requirements

*Undergraduate Federal Work Study students only!* Tutors should be: -Comfortable working with children -Strong communicators -Knowledgeable of the English language including its grammar. -Able to have a consistent schedule as you will be working with the same kids every week. -Able to work some nights (4-8pm) -Able to have transportation to the Jerry L. Johns Literacy Clinic off-campus.

Pay Rate: $ $9.00/hr
