The Business Affairs Team of NIU Housing and Residential Services is searching for a Student Office Assistant. This position assists in the coordination and processing of student hiring paperwork for both the NIU Housing and Residential Services and Residential Dining departments. Everyday tasks of the job include processing paperwork, copying and faxing paperwork, and assisting with additional clerical duties. This position requires the applicant to be able to work independently, organize large volumes of paperwork, follow specific guidelines, have attention to detail, and a working knowledge of Excel. A student in this position must be highly dependable and able to work a set schedule of 10 hours per week during the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. A qualified applicant must be a current student at NIU in good standing with the Student Conduct Office, and must be able to pass an Illinois State security background check.
Pay Rate: $ 8.30
