PREFER **UNDERGRADUATE** Junior or Senior standing, require overall GPA of 2.75 or above, prefer an A but could have received a B grade in Math 108, 109, 110; or Chem 110, 210; or Accounting 206 or 207, or PSYC 108, COMS 100. Very good interpersonal and communication skills are required and must be comfortable with group work and using group activities to interact with students. This position is great for those interested in becoming educators, also great for building on public speaking, organized leadership, and classroom management.
Work 10+ hours a week attending Math, Statistics, Accounting, COMS, PSYC or Chemistry class meetings as a "model student" taking the same notes, quizzes and exams as students enrolled (3-5 hours)weekly, create a lesson plan (1 hour) facilitating weekly study sessions (2), tutor during office hours(3), and meet regularly with SI supervisor for additional training (1-2 hours).
Pay Rate: $ 8.75
