Serves as the initial contact and provides initial assistance for students/families when they visit the Office in person;
Answers all in coming calls. Assists where able and/or refers the call accordingly;
Performs administrative support tasks such copying, scanning, and follow up activities as delegated/assigned.
Current NIU student in good academic standing;
Previous work experience in a customer facing role;
Proven ability to handle sensitive information;
Must be reliable to work for the entire Spring 2019 semester;
Preference will be given to the students who are:
(A) Declared majors in the College of Business or
Health and Human Services, or Letters and Sciences
(B) Members of the Pre Professional Club, Student Health Organization, and/or Student Health Advisory Committee
Pay Rate: $ $9.00

Student Health Insurance, Immunization Compliance, and Medical Records were individual areas within NIU Health Services that are now being run together (“Office”) on the 2nd floor of the Health Services Building.
The Office is run by highly focused and motivated professionals who excel at serving the students of NIU.
The Office handles extremely confidential and sensitive information related to student insurance and medical related documentations.
